Leap Carpet is a series of objects that reinterprets the domestic carpet as a spatial and symbolic threshold rather than a decorative surface.
The project explores the idea of transition and interruption, turning a traditionally passive element into an active device that alters perception, movement, and use. The carpet no longer functions as a background, but as a point of tension within the space.
Through material manipulation and controlled deformation, the object retains a familiar typology while shifting its role, existing between functional artifact and sculptural presence.
