Bright Future Manifesto Lamp is a light object conceived as a fragile declaration rather than a reassuring promise. Built from layered translucent elements, the lamp transforms light into a medium of doubt, where color, transparency, and overlap generate ambiguity instead of clarity. The work questions the rhetoric of progress and the constant demand for optimism, turning illumination into a critical act rather than a functional outcome. Light does not simply reveal—it distorts, accumulates, and exposes contradictions.More than a lamp, Bright Future Manifesto operates as a suspended statement: a reminder that imagining the future requires responsibility, uncertainty, and the courage to remain unresolved.

The @Vases series originates from the classical forms of Greek and Roman amphorae—objects that once functioned as units of measure and instruments of transport, marked with the “@” ideogram to certify their content and destination.

Today, the same symbol has migrated into the digital realm, no longer transporting oil or wine, but words, thoughts, emotions, and identities. The series operates within this semantic shift, treating the amphora not as a nostalgic reference, but as an active device for transmission.

Each vase is produced without molds, through direct manipulation of polyurethane foam and resin. The process embraces instability, excess, repair, and accumulation, allowing form to emerge from gesture rather than control. Every piece embodies a specific and unrepeatable “content”—love, conflict, beauty, rebellion—concepts that have accompanied human civilization since its earliest technologies.

The worn, layered, and often uncomfortable appearance of the objects reflects a deliberate rejection of neutrality. Scratches, fractures, and material overlaps become traces of lived experience, transforming the vase into a metaphorical body shaped by time, tension, and contradiction.

Neither purely functional nor purely sculptural, the @Vases exist in a suspended state: containers that speak, objects that carry meaning rather than matter.

“DUTY FREE” table
A table conceived as a neutral ground: the fusion of the American and Chinese flags generates a surface of exchange, tension, and interdependence, where color becomes silent geopolitics and the object embodies a fragile balance.

Duty Free is a table developed at a moment of increasing geopolitical tension, using fragmentation and recomposition as formal and conceptual tools.
Elements derived from the visual languages of the American and Chinese flags are broken down, displaced, and reassembled into a non-hierarchical surface. The original symbols are no longer readable as identities, but persist as traces embedded in the structure of the object.
Rather than delivering a direct political statement, the table proposes coexistence through material contamination, suggesting that stability and meaning can emerge from overlap, mixture, and loss of clear boundaries.

Marittimo evokes the silhouette of Mediterranean pine trees — a table shaped like a fragment of landscape, where trunks become legs and matter thickens into canopy.

Marittimo is a series of objects developed around the notions of balance, displacement, and containment, drawing from maritime references without reproducing them literally.
Elements associated with flotation, load, and instability are translated into abstract volumes that oscillate between functional memory and sculptural presence. The objects do not depict the maritime world, but absorb its logics and tensions.
Through controlled deformation and material stress, Marittimo questions the idea of stability, turning the object into a provisional structure rather than a resolved form.

Souvenir is a collection developed in collaboration with Galleria Delle Piane, conceived as a reflection on the ambivalence of use and presence. The works take the archetype of the vase — a functional, domestic object — and displace it into an unstable territory between sculpture and utility.

These objects are not designed to resolve function, but to question it.Their role oscillates: they can contain, but they also resist containment. They can be used, yet they assert themselves primarily as presences.

The collection is built around a series of material and conceptual oppositions:lightness and weight, fragility and solidity, the contemporary and the archaic.Light, industrial materials coexist with heavier, mineral references; new processes confront ancestral forms.

In Souvenir, function becomes an oxymoron rather than a solution. The object does not serve efficiently — it lingers, it interrupts, it remains partially unresolved. What emerges is a quiet paradigm shift: use is no longer a requirement, but a possibility among others.

These works act as memories crystallized into form — not nostalgic, but active. They do not recall the past; they hold it in tension with the present.

Leap Series explores the carpet as a field of action rather than a decorative plane. Each piece originates from a single, decisive gesture — a pour, a spread, a controlled accident — frozen at the moment of impact. Color behaves like a trace of movement, expanding and colliding across the surface, while the irregular perimeter records the limits of control.

These carpets operate between painting and object, where memory is not represented but embedded in matter. The surface becomes a site of tension: between fluidity and arrest, intention and gravity, image and residue. Walking on them means crossing a suspended action, a leap that has already happened but has not fully settled.

Rather than offering a stable pattern, Leap Series preserves instability as a compositional value. The carpet is not a background; it is an event that remains active in space.

“Red Memory Carpet” explores the idea of memory as something embedded, compressed, and partially hidden within domestic space. The work starts from a simple gesture: lifting the carpet to look underneath. What emerges is not dirt or residue, but traces of lived time—imprints, absences, and forgotten forms.

The neutral textile surface contrasts with an irregular red layer beneath, evoking what is traditionally concealed, removed, or symbolically “swept under the rug.” Books, objects, and fragments of everyday life leave subtle impressions, transforming memory into relief rather than narrative.

Rather than offering a fixed meaning, the work remains open. What lies beneath the carpet belongs to the viewer’s own experience, making memory subjective and unstable. The carpet becomes a threshold between presence and concealment, where domestic familiarity meets emotional sediment.

Red Memory Carpet treats memory not as nostalgia, but as material—something that the house hides, yet never truly loses.

Coriandoli is a collaborative project developed with Fabio Novembre, conceived as a compositional exercise based on accumulation, rhythm, and visual excess. The object is constructed from individual resin elements—circles, hearts, abstract modules—assembled into a collective surface where repetition and variation coexist.

Rather than pursuing formal unity, the piece embraces fragmentation as a generative principle. Each element retains its autonomy, while contributing to a larger, unstable whole. The result is an object that oscillates between decorative gesture and structural logic, between playfulness and control.

Color operates as both material and narrative device. The palette recalls popular iconography and graphic language, while the assembly process introduces unpredictability and density. What emerges is not a resolved form, but a suspended composition—open to interpretation, use, and reconfiguration.

Coriandoli reflects a shared approach to design as an expanded field, where objects act as carriers of cultural references, collective memory, and formal tension rather than fixed typologies.Year: 2019Collaboration: IONOI by Fabio NovembreMaterials: Colored resinProcess: Hand-assembledEdition: freeCategory: Collaborations

Crush explores what happens when fragility becomes structure. The collection is built around the idea of the “crushed” object: a vessel that looks as if it has been fractured, pressed, or collapsed—yet re-emerges as a stable body. Cast in translucent resin, each piece behaves like a small architecture of impact, catching and projecting color onto its surroundings.

Rather than hiding rupture, Crush uses it as a generative condition. The irregular edge becomes a perimeter, the break becomes ornament, and the bowl becomes a stage where light performs. The work sits between domestic presence and collectible intensity: familiar in typology, strange in behavior—an object that turns space into image.Year: 2024–ongoingMaterials: PS
