Spesso i tappeti ci parlano raccontandoci storie, culture esotiche con colori e disegni antichi o contemporanei. Alcune culture ancora oggi considerano il tappeto, come il confine della domesticità.
Qualche volta anche quello che sta sotto al tappeto racconta delle storie.
La saggezza popolare ci nasconde la vergogna dello “sporco”, ogni tanto ci si trovano delle monete, ma a ben guardare sotto ai tappeti si possono trovare pezzi di memoria che la casa “nasconde, ma non perde”
È così che la forma di un libro dimenticato, o quello di un vecchio gioco, il rilievo di alcune domande poste, e quello di alcuni pezzi di storia domestica quotidiana prendono forma e colore dando “tangibilità” alla memoria diventando un “red memory rug”
Il significato di ciò che è sotto al tappeto è proprio e soggettivo di chi lo guarda e lo usa."

Often the stories telling us about carpets, exotic cultures, colors and designs with antique or contemporary. Some cultures still consider the carpet, like the boundary of domesticity.
Sometimes even what's under the rug tells stories.
Conventional wisdom we hide the shame of the "dirty", sometimes there are coins, but on closer look under the carpets you can find pieces of memory that the house "hides, but does not lose"
Thus the form of a forgotten book, or that of an old game, the relief of some questions, and some pieces of history to take shape and color daily maid giving "tangibility" in memory of becoming a "red memory rug"
The meaning of what is under the carpet is really subjective and those who watch and uses it. "
