“CRUSH COLLECTION”
Sturm Milano 2024
Translucent resin vessels born from impact—light, fracture, and tenderness held in one form.
Crush explores what happens when fragility becomes structure. The collection is built around the idea of the “crushed” object: a vessel that looks as if it has been fractured, pressed, or collapsed—yet re-emerges as a stable body. Cast in translucent resin, each piece behaves like a small architecture of impact, catching and projecting color onto its surroundings.
Rather than hiding rupture, Crush uses it as a generative condition. The irregular edge becomes a perimeter, the break becomes ornament, and the bowl becomes a stage where light performs. The work sits between domestic presence and collectible intensity: familiar in typology, strange in behavior—an object that turns space into image.
