“CORIANDOLI” 2023
IONOI GALLERY

A shared object built from fragments, color, and playful collision.

Coriandoli is a collaborative project developed with Fabio Novembre, conceived as a compositional exercise based on accumulation, rhythm, and visual excess.
The object is constructed from individual resin elements—circles, hearts, abstract modules—assembled into a collective surface where repetition and variation coexist.

Rather than pursuing formal unity, the piece embraces fragmentation as a generative principle. Each element retains its autonomy, while contributing to a larger, unstable whole. The result is an object that oscillates between decorative gesture and structural logic, between playfulness and control.

Color operates as both material and narrative device. The palette recalls popular iconography and graphic language, while the assembly process introduces unpredictability and density. What emerges is not a resolved form, but a suspended composition—open to interpretation, use, and reconfiguration.

Coriandoli reflects a shared approach to design as an expanded field, where objects act as carriers of cultural references, collective memory, and formal tension rather than fixed typologies.
